Healthcare Assistant
Job description
-
Assist service users with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.
-
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
-
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.
-
Observe, monitor, and record service users physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to Senior Staff.
-
Encourage service users to participate in social and recreational activities.
The carer works under the direct supervision of the Manager, Deputy Manager and senior carers.
Salary: £12.60 per hour + Plenty of Benefits (Listed below)
Job type: Full Time/Part time, Permanent. To start immediately.
Hours: 12-hour shift pattern (8-8) and must be willing to work both day and nightshift. 3 shifts per week

Job description
-
To prepare appetising and 3 nutritious meals ,in conjunction with the residents likes and dislikes. for the residents, on a daily basis at an appropriate time.

To ensure that the kitchen is hygienically clean at all times
-
To prepare desserts as necessary for lunch
-
To offer and prepare, if necessary, at least 2 main options for lunch each day.
-
To oversee the smooth running of the kitchen
-
To ensure all cleaning is completed as per cleaning rota
-
To attend any other training when a need has been identified
-
To check stock weekly and place order for with suppliers
-
To report any faults/defects in the kitchen to the appropriate person or the manager in charge
-
To be fully aware of the fire policy and the awareness of food hygiene regulations
Salary: £12.60 per hour + Plenty of Benefits (Listed below)
Job type: Part time, Permanent. To start immediatley.
Hours: 7am - 6pm Friday, Saturday and alternate Sunday and cover for holidays

Qualifications, Training and Experience

Previous experience is required, but not essential as training will be given

To have a genuine interest for older people

To have good communication skills
-
To have the ability to work effectively within a team environment
